Oxytetracycline: It belongs to group tetracycline Oxytetracycline reflects reversible binding to the bacterial 30S ribosomal subunit, thus stops protein synthesis by preventing ribosomal translation.

Neomycin: It belongs to aminoglycocide group. Aminoglycosides are more effective against rapidly multiplying organisms, and they affect and ultimately destroy bacteria by several mechanisms. They need only a short contact with bacteria to kill them and, as such, are concentration dependent in their actions. Their main site of action is the membrane-associated bacterial ribosome through which they interfere with protein synthesis. Neomycin is mostly effective against gram negative bacteria.

Colistin Sulphate: It belongs to polymyxin group. they interact strongly with phospholipids in bacterial cell membranes and radically disrupt their permeability and function. The polymyxins are more effective against gram-negative than gram-positive bacteria.
